Sea Trial Success for New Buffs

buff dolphin florida keys mahi-mahi masks

After years of looking for the Goldilocks version of a mahi-mahi print fabric, you know, one that's just right, I gave up.  They were either just too splotchy and looked like a leftover splash art project from the '80s or had bizarre, misshapen scales.  A few came close, but I didn't like the color.  So I threw in the towel and decided to create my own.  With the gorgeous natural colors of both the fish and of the nearshore waters of the Gulf of Mexico to inspire me, I made my print.  It's not too splotchy, not too fishy, and not too shabby if I do say so myself.

We had lots of options for manufacturing them, and some online wholesalers were very tempting with super low prices.  We opted for higher quality and it was definitely worth it.  Our rash guards and buffs are stretchy, soft, and hold up to saltwater, washings, squid ink, and even my eight year old son which is saying a lot.

We're very excited about our new products and look forward to even more designs.  If you're a fan of the clouds and the color of the ocean in the background of the picture here, you're going to like what you see in the next few weeks.  I'm definitely open to ideas for even more prints so be sure to send us your suggestions!

In the meantime, if you're looking for a buff to wear on the boat or as an everyday mask, consider one of ours.  They're high quality, colorful, and are all reminiscent of the fabulous Florida Keys.
